Human Rights Abuses
Are things that happen in China
Cambodia
North Korea
On the News
At a distance
Things we could be glad
We don’t have here
Like trap-door spiders
And mudslides

But now
They are things that happen
In England
In the Job Centre-double-Plus
At the heartless border
And in the malnourished hospital
Proclaimed by our noble government
As being Good News.

But it’s OK — 
Theresa May
Says Christians mustn’t be afraid
To share their faith in Britain
So she must really love that Jesus bloke.

Away from me, 
My England
I don’t know who you are.
